Kings complete their squad for St. Vincent

Seventeen players, led by internationals Mohammad Amir, Evin Lewis, Dwaine Pretorius and Rahkeem Cornwall, are set for the Kings’ first NCL GT20 campaign.

Toronto Kings have finalised the squad that travels to Arnos Vale, St. Vincent, for NCL GT20 Canada 2026. It pairs a marquee international top order with a deep Associate contingent and a settled Canadian core.

Leading the overseas names are former Pakistan quick Mohammad Amir, West Indies opener Evin Lewis, South Africa all-rounder Dwaine Pretorius and West Indies off-spinning all-rounder Rahkeem Cornwall. Alongside them sit UAE captain Muhammad Waseem, USA pair Ali Khan and Obus Pienaar, and Trinidad’s Dejourn Charles.

The Canadian core — Saad Bin Zafar, Kaleem Sana, Ali Nadeem, Aaron Johnson, Akhil Kumar and Gurnek Singh — anchors the group, with JJ Smuts and Zia Shahzad adding further all-round balance.

"We set out to build a side that can win in any phase of the game," Head Coach Rayad Emrit said. "Pace up top, spin through the middle, and hitters all the way down. This is that squad."

The team reports to St. Vincent ahead of the tournament, which runs October 23 to November 2. Every signed player has a live card on the Squad page.
