Amir and Lewis headline the overseas signings

International experience arrives to lead the Kings’ bowling and top order.

Toronto Kings have confirmed their overseas signings for NCL GT20 Canada, headed by left-arm quick Mohammad Amir and opener Evin Lewis — two of franchise cricket’s most recognisable names.

They are joined by South Africa all-rounder Dwaine Pretorius, West Indies all-rounder Rahkeem Cornwall, UAE captain Muhammad Waseem and USA fast bowler Ali Khan, giving the Kings a bowling attack and a top order built for the short format.

"You win T20 cricket with the ball and at the top of the order," Emrit said. "We have added quality in both."
